Diagnosis

Cuerpo grande y transparente sin pigmentación epidérmica.
Sin pigmentación solo amebocitos amarillos en sitios característicos como el borde del lóbulo preoral, el saco metasomal, los tentáculos, el músculo circular del collar, el esófago, la telotroca.
Tentáculos larvarios hasta 20; los tentáculos adultos son larvarios midificados.
Dos masas sanguíneas: un par en forma de disco en las partes dorsolaterales del lóbulo preoral, y otro en el collar, ventrolateralmente a nivel del los terceros tentáculos.
Presencia del órgano periforme, poco antes de la metamorfosis.
