Hispanirhynchia cornea (Fischer in Davidson, 1887) Type locality: W de Mogador (today Essaouira, Morocco), dragage 38, June, 27 1883, 1050 m - 'Talisman' Expedition (Fischer & Œhlert, 1891) Nota: The type locality mentioned by Davidson (1887, p. 172) is "dredged off Cape St. Vincent ('Talisman' Expedition) fathoms depth 571/2" (= 105 m). Fischer & Œhlert (1891) do not mention dredging station off Portugal by the 'Talisman' expedition ; they quote two other samples between Morocco and the Canary Islands: dragage 53 (June 26, 1883), 1180 m; dragage 53 (June 27, 1883), 865 m, as well as dragage 1 (June 13, 1881), 2018 m, off Cape Finistère by the 'Travailleur' expedition. One can suggest a confusion on behalf of Davidson in the localization, as well as on the depth 105 m, while 1050 m is given by Fischer & Œhlert (1891). Consequently, the type locality is attributed to the first record of H. cornea by the 'Talisman' expedition, while the depth range may probably need revision. Depth range: 105? - 2388 m Rhynchonella sicula Seguenza: Jeffreys, 1870
