Counters on the home page of CdG-NoG total the number of visitors to the site, but we would like to know more about them. Of their number, how many are repeaters, regular readers? Your registration will allow us to determine the number of regular readers (to compare with those of other online geologic journals and thus to measure our impact more precisely). But more important, perhaps, is the fact that prospective authors, thus assured of a minimum readership, will be more inclined to send their new work to us rather than to a conventional paper journal.
